John William Lloyd fue un anarquista individualista[1]​ y un médico estadounidense. Fue editor de Free Comrade. Lloyd nació en Nueva Jersey, y más tarde se trasladó a Grahamville, Florida. Basó su anarquismo individualista en el iusnaturalismo, más que en el egoísmo como hizo Benjamin Tucker, lo que fue una fuente de conflicto en las que habían sido relaciones de amistad entre él mismo y Tucker.[2]​[3]​ Lloyd posteriormente modificó su posición al minarquismo.[4]​

Lloyd era conocido como el "médico sin drogas". Fue autor de diversos escritos, algunos no publicados, sobre el tema de las relaciones de pareja ideales.[5]​ y sobre el médoto karezza.[6]​ Wikipedia

“He paused a moment and then pointed to the brook. "You see that the water divides there and flows on each side of a great rock. Now, if we imagine the brook endowed with consciousness, no doubt the stream on the right of the rock will feel itself separate from the stream on the left, but to us they are plainly continuous and the same.
