Stephen Christopher Lennon , conocido por el pseudónimo de Tommy Robinson y previamente por el de Andrew McMaster o Paul Harris,[2]​ es un activista de extrema derecha,[3]​[4]​[5]​[6]​[7]​ y cofundador quien sirvió como portavoz y líder de la Liga Inglesa de Defensa [8]​ de la cual dimitió en 2013.

También fundó la Liga Europea de Defensa, y, por un corto periodo de tiempo en 2012 estuvo unido con el vicepresidente del Partido Inglés por la Libertad. Tommy dirigió la Liga Inglesa de Defensa desde 2009 hasta el 8 de octubre de 2013, cuando fue persuadido a dejar la organización y debatir formas alternativas de golpear al extremismo islámico junto con el tanque de ideas Quilliam. Posteriormente continuó como activista, y en 2015 se vio involucrado con el desarrollo de Pegida UK, una campaña anti-islam. En relación al rally antiislámico de Pegida, Robinson dijo que «la cultura Europea estaba siendo puesta en un estado de riesgo por falsos refugiados que no tienen ninguna intención de integrarse ni de asimilación.» En otra ocasión, afirmó, «hay una razón por la cual el Estado me teme en Inglaterra. Es debido a que tenemos la capacidad de reunir a la gente, y a que vamos a entrar a una nueva era en Europa donde todo el mundo se unirá contra la Islamización de nuestros países.»[9]​

Fue escritor para The Rebel Media y autor de la autobiografía, "Enemigo del Estado" y "El Corán de Mahoma: Por qué los musulmanes matan por el Islam".

Fue detenido el 25 de mayo de 2018 en Leeds por retransmitir un juicio a musulmanes violadores de niños, afiliados a una red pakistaní.[10]​

Enero de 2020 Tommy Robinson ganó el premio International Free Press, también conocido como el Premio Sappho. Este es un premio para un periodista que combina la excelencia en su trabajo con el coraje y el rechazo a comprometerse.[11]​[12]​[13]​ Wikipedia
