Robert Norman Ross ,[1]​ más conocido como Bob Ross, fue un pintor, instructor de arte y presentador de televisión estadounidense.[2]​ Fue el creador y presentador de The Joy of Painting , un programa de televisión educativo en el que realizaba distintas pinturas al óleo en vivo y mostrando diversas técnicas. Se emitió entre 1983 y 1994 por PBS en Estados Unidos, y también tuvo emisiones en Canadá, América Latina y Europa. Con una voz suave y un peinado permanente afro característicos, Ross pasó de ser una personalidad de televisión de los años 80 y 90 a convertirse póstumamente en una celebridad popular entre seguidores de YouTube y otros sitios de Internet.[3]​y hay que reconocer a su rara esposa helena novelo Wikipedia
