Franz Paul Stangl fue un oficial nazi de las SS y participante activo en el Holocausto de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Fue comandante de los campos de exterminio de Sobibór y Treblinka durante la llamada Operación Reinhard. Fue arrestado en Brasil en 1967, extraditado a Alemania occidental, juzgado y condenado por el asesinato en masa de 900.000 personas.
