Mahoma fue el fundador del islam. Su nombre completo en lengua árabe es Abū l-Qāsim Muḥammad ibn ‘Abd Allāh ibn ‘Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hāšim al-Qurayšī , que se castellaniza como «Mahoma».[1]​

En la religión musulmana, se considera a Mahoma «el último de los profetas» , el último de una larga cadena de mensajeros enviados por Dios para actualizar su mensaje, entre cuyos predecesores se contarían Abraham, Moisés y Jesús de Nazaret. A su vez, el bahaísmo lo venera como uno de los profetas o "Manifestación de Dios", cuyas enseñanzas habrían sido actualizadas por las de Bahá'u'lláh, fundador de esta religión.[2]​ Wikipedia

“Ciertamente que la creación de cada uno de vosotros, se reúne en el vientre de su madre: Durante cuarenta días en forma de embrión, luego lo hace en forma de coágulo por un período semejante, después como un trozo de carne por un período igual, luego le es enviado un ángel que insufla el espíritu en él, y le ordena cuatro palabras (asuntos): Escribir su sustento, el plazo de su vida, sus obras y si será feliz o desgraciado; ¡por Alá!, quien no hay otra divinidad más que él, cualquiera de vosotros obra como una persona del Paraíso, hasta que no quede entre él y éste (paraíso) más que un brazo (de distancia), entonces lo que ha sido escrito le alcanza, y obra como las personas del fuego (del Infierno) y entra en él. Y otro de vosotros obra como una persona del fuego (del Infierno), hasta que no queda entre él y éste (infierno) que un brazo (de distancia), y entonces le alcanza lo que había sido escrito y obra como una persona del Paraíso y entra en él.”
