António de Oliveira Salazar fue un dictador portugués. Ejerció como primer ministro entre 1932 y 1968 e interinamente la Presidencia de la República en 1951. Fue la cabeza y principal figura del llamado Estado Novo, que abarcó el periodo 1926-1974, si bien el régimen no se consolidó como tal hasta 1933. Wikipedia
