Horst Ludwig Störmer es un físico alemán que compartió en 1998 Premio Nobel de Física con Daniel C. Tsui y Robert B. Laughlin. Los tres compartieron el premio "por su descubrimiento de una nueva forma de fluido cuántico con excitaciones cargadas fraccionales" . Desde 1997 Störmer ha sido profesor de física y física aplicada en la Universidad de Columbia en Nueva York. Wikipedia
