Mobutu Sese Seko Nkuku Ngbendu wa Za Banga fue un militar, cleptócrata y dictador de la República de Zaire, popularmente conocido como Mobutu. Ha sido descrito como el arquetipo de dictador africano.[1]​

Fue el primer y único presidente de la República de Zaire, actualmente denominada República Democrática del Congo, entre noviembre de 1965 y marzo de 1997, y comandante en Jefe del Ejército congoleño desde 1965 hasta su derrocamiento en mayo de 1997. Wikipedia
